Who is eligible?

International applicants include non‑Ivorian citizens, dual nationals residing abroad, and stateless persons educated outside Côte d’Ivoire. We welcome transfer students and exchange/visiting students via partner universities.

Undergraduate (Licence/Ingénieur)

Required academic background

  • Completed secondary education equivalent to the Baccalauréat.
  • Strong preparation in mathematics and sciences.
  • Minimum GPA equivalent of 2.8/4.0 or national equivalent.

Graduate (Master/Ingénieur/Doctorat)

Admission requirements vary by program

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Research proposal (for thesis routes) and supervisor match.
  • CV and academic references.

Exchange & Visiting

From a partner university

  • Nomination from home institution.
  • Study plan approved by both institutions.
  • Proof of language proficiency.

Application requirements

Completed online form – personal info, program choices, academic history.
Academic transcripts & diploma – official copies; certified translations if not in French or English.
Passport – biodata page, valid for at least 18 months from program start.
Proof of language proficiency – see Language Requirements.
CV & motivation letter – highlight achievements and career goals.
Recommendation letters – 1–2 academic or professional referees.
Application fee receipt – if applicable.

Note: Some programs may request extra documents (portfolio, coding exercise, interview). Check the specific program page.

Visa & enrollment — Request visa support letter, arrange housing, pay deposit, and register for courses.

Language requirements

French‑taught programs

  • Recommended: DELF B2 / DALF C1 (or equivalent institutional test).
  • Waiver: 2+ years of prior study in French or French‑medium high school/university.
  • Language support: on‑campus French courses available.

English‑taught tracks

  • Recommended: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 80 / Duolingo 105 (or equivalent).
  • Waiver: citizenship or prior degree from an English‑speaking system.
  • Bridging: academic English workshops in semester 1.

Interviews & placement

  • Some applicants may be invited to an online interview.
  • Placement tests offered during orientation for language classes.

Visa & arrival support

Visa support letter

Upon accepting your offer and paying any required deposit, request an official admission letter for visa purposes. We provide guidance on required documents for Côte d’Ivoire student visas.

Arrival & orientation

Airport pickup windows during orientation week. Campus tours, student services briefings, and language placement tests.

Housing

Limited on‑campus housing is available. Private listings provided upon request. Priority for first‑year international students.

Keep your passport valid for at least 18 months from program start and maintain health insurance coverage for the duration of your studies.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply to more than one program?

Yes. You may indicate up to three program choices in one application. Prioritize your top choice.

Do I need to translate my documents?

Documents not issued in French or English must be accompanied by certified translations into one of these languages.

Are application fee waivers available?

A limited number of waivers may be offered based on financial need or through partner organizations. Indicate your request in the application.

Is work allowed during studies?

Some paid internships or assistantships are possible subject to visa conditions and program rules. Consult your department and international office.
